These scarves are made in buildings renovated by Kiwi and Indian teams working side by side. Old picture theatres were transformed into manufacturing units with looms, light and laughter.
Women making these scarves received fair wages that help support their families and allow them to keep their daughters in school rather than being painfully sold (often by deception) into sex slavery.
